Errand Girl
Frantic, frantic! From a carefree girl, I'm suddenly turned into guide-cum-cappherone! [Is the cappherone word rightly spelled? Where's my editor? :)]My pal Deep will be coming 2moro and an old HiSchool g/f will be too. (And Nora's coming, as well! But she's a big girl - she'll take care of herself) A good thing Deep had said that I don't have to meet his flight but I must take him around town! (But I'm as new around town as a freshman in college!)
As for Sisca, she's already heard so much about scary Jakarta, she's asked for a full guard from the moment her plane touched down!
At least I'm confident in the role of bodyguard!
S'ley, be mailing you soon...! Promise!
Spawn, my kabar ok2 aja ^_^ I've been restricting my diet to homemade meals for the time being! Anyway, gw skrg 'dah sembuh dari "insomnia" (ngak bisa tidur sebelum fajar) n dah balik ke rutin normal alias tidur jam 11 ato 12 jadi gw rada ketinggalan news ne... Sering2 post berita bola ya...
eYiK, forgotten me, girl? I'll be mailing you too!!!

Tummy Ache!
I woke up to the most painful stomach ache ever! Now I pride myself with being immune to almost every kind of pain, including toothache but it was only tummy pain that could make me keel over and wish I'm dead!
Number One Suspect: that delicious-looking Ayam Bakar I had yesterday. I walked into campus and saw the owner of the tiny deli fanning away those fat, luscious looking chicken, grilled into the most beautiful shade of burnt and I vowed that when I come home, I'd get one of those.
Further Report: the Ayam Bakar was delicious, super but as I waited, I got a glimpse of how they prepared the hot sauce and now that I thought about it, it's not very hygienic.
But then again since when did delicious spell hygienic? *giggle* Just a tip, everyone, from someone who loves eating more than anything else: Whenever you encounter a restaurant or a deli looking squeaky clean and suspiciously neat, you should indeed be SUSPICIOUS.
It just goes to show that the staff have nothing better to do (namely serving good food) thus they clean around - or as a more cynical person would say, They don't serve good food therefore they serve good view.
Now, I don't suggest that y'all should pick the dirtiest looking place to eat at but you know the idea... if one's is mostly obssessed with hygienia, more likely he lacks the ability of producing delicatessen.
Anyway The Verdic Goes: as it was the hot sauce that's to blame and it's sentenced lifetime ban, at least the hot sauce from that particular deli.
As I lied on my bed, feeling miserable, I heard my cell screeching, indicating I've got a message.
Lately, thanks to S'ley, sis ephi and Nora (who’s still outta town), I’ve got lotsa text msgs. Still it’s not from one of them. The miserable 3499 (who’s the biggest, fat liar ever!) texted me to tell me I stand a chance to win 2 tickets to the Bernabeu Stadium and watch darling Iker live!
Well, it didn’t exactly say so: not the darling Iker part, of course. But you get the idea. Anyway, I’ve once or twice entered into 3499’s SMS quiz and found out it’s all a hoax!!! HOAX!
It was, as I recall, the Madrid’s Asian Tour Games. I hung around to see if, by any chance, my number came out the winner. And there was indeed one which closely resembled mine: 0812 8937xxx. And that’s why I remembered it.
Next night, whaddya know? It came up the winner again! Black over white: 0812 8937xxx.
Judge it to your own consideration but it sure is fishy to me. Big, fat liar, 3499!

New Look!!!
HWAHWAHAHAHA... finally, people: new layout!!!Credits to baby sis ephi though I don't think she'd appreaciate the word "baby" *giggle*
Just finished another of Irving's book: A Son Of The Circus. Brilliant. I wish someday I could read something like that.
Back to campus' days... I'm gonna kill that crazy, never-there Wadek 2 (=Dean's 2nd Assistant)! I need to have this application signed and the faculty somehow managed a system that makes it so that only her signature could legislate the form.
And she's never there!
Last Friday, I went (very early, mind you) to see her and was told that she's attending some stupid seminar at the building. I was told to wait (and I agreed, of course, the AC room was more than anyone could ask for) since she'd be back around lunch time.
I read for a while and decided to go out and grab some delicious martabak sold only in H building and would invariably sold out after 11.
Martabak successfully grabbed, I thought I'd make use of Library's free I-net access since it was only 10 AM.
The connection was dead slow and I could practically do nothing so I was already bored by the time the clock showed 10.45
Back to R building again. The tag board still announced the Honorable Ass. to be out. So there I was, hungry and sleepy, waiting and reading A Son of The Circus.
Ran into Robert, our very own Pablo Picasso. He's doing his grad. thesis this term and we chatted for a while.
Lunch hour saw me munching slowly at my martabaks. Still no sign of that fool Wadek.
Hours and hours later (actually a couple only), I inquired again and was told that the goddamn official had gone home! No show at all!
Typical beuraucrats! Do nothing that's your job and spend all your time meddling into something that's not your goddamn business!
And guess what, when I went again today I was told by my chum-administration clerk that her secretary told people that she wouldn't be coming in today!

A Bit of Movie and Books Review...
Great Expectation.. Gosh, could it be any better? Robert De Niro at his very best! Though of course he doesn't show up much. Ethan Hawke plays well, too, exceeds my expectation of him, to tell the truth.
Gwyneth Platrow's beautiful, beautiful. Though sadly very thin! Anyway, somehow I think the girl who play her younger character plays better than she does.
Rosemary's Baby spooked me and shoved me off my feet! No wonder every bigwigs in Hollywood still speaks of Mr Polanski with reverence!
O Brother Where Art Thou is mad! I laughed my teeth off watching it.
On the book front, I finally could lie a finger on John Irving's other novel: they're very, very hard to come by! It's called The Fourth Hand. Tells of a journalist who "made his own headline by having his hand eaten by a lion." A physician managed to get him a transplantion but the donor's widow demand visitations' right to see the hand.
How far-off can you get?
But if there's ever anyone who could be someone after Harry Potter - I mean, something to read after you read HP - John Irving's the guy.
The Summons was a bit of a surprise. It seems like John Grisham finally's doing some dialogue. And twisted the plot for a bit of a thriller, which I think wasn't his style at all.
But what can I say? He did it again. Good read. Especially when you're forced a horribly sweet Grande Mocca Frappuchino!

OK., people. Let's get a big party going on now... I've realised that mourning and feeling sad don't go well with me.
I'll completely collapse if I let it overcome me. So instead... let's have bang! Party until next week!
*hollow laugh* Didn't go very well, did it?
Anyway, still I gotta do something. I've decided on some themes to propose to El Jefé for the books I'm supposed to write.
I've thought up a couple which excite me well but on one particular theme, I will be needing some help. I thought about doing something about habit and I need all of you people reading this to kindly give some input about it.
Anything. Natural, tedious habits, bewildering habits, slightly-disgusting habits down to wacko habits. Your own, a friend's or just someone you know... anything, as long as they're trivial habits. HELP, WILL U, PEOPLE?
*sweet smile to everyone*
Lagian suka ngawur nantinya - ngomong terus ampe berbusa-busa.
"Suka makan kulit roti duluan," "beli sikat gigi warnanya mesti ijo muda," ato "tidur selalu tengkurep" amat sangat diterima!!! (Spawn, your help's especially inquired here. What with countless of housemates and all...)

No update 'coz this page's under construction!!!
Yeah... finally. It's more than 7 months - I s'pose it's quite a record. Anyway, am not sure if my webmistress is up to it but I daresay we'll soon see a change around here.
My SUPER DUPER good news is somewhat dampened by Irwin being, again, MIA. HWAAAAA...
Right before we parted the last time, we're sorting out some misunderstanding and I - damn, curse and blast - as always, lost my temper.
Now, he's not one who would easily take offense but I dunno... the way I lost my temper wasn't something anyone would take kindly...
And.. I dunno, he'd just revealed me one of his top secrets so understandably he's a bit sensitive and wary... Oh, Gosh, what've I done?
*wail*
Anyway, super duper good news is that *speak lamely* I got the job.
I'm officially a writer now. *sigh*

True Love's playing... Just in case anyone forgets, it's the soundtrack of Ordinary People, a Japanese TV serial dated from my Jr Hi School years. It had been my most fave TV serials - nothing to beat it yet and the song had been my most fave soundtrack, too.
Am right now reading an interview of JK Rowling. So she's upset, too, about Sirius dying. And they're talking about a certain twist (if I'm not mistaken) at the end of it all. Meaning at the end of the story - book 7.
Apparently, she's reading speculations posted on message boards. And she said some people sailed very near to the wind. I wonder very much what it is.
But what I've been interested in had been Snape all the time. Ms Rowling pretty much had all the plot written down and neatly planned so I could only wish that I'd been true and in the end Snape would turn out nice as hell (and a bit of a wishful thinking, more than handsome!)
I had never really thought him evil - even from the first book Quirrel had sneered and spoke of him as a big, ugly bat - a perfect cover for the true devil. True, he's not nice at all but as I said to a fellow Harry Potter fan, it's more bitterness and not evil.
There's yet another speculation of him been having a crush on Lily Evans who later grew to be Harry's Mum. It could be, as likely as not.
Oh dear God... I wish she would hurry up with the next. She hinted that, against the previous plan, she might invent a new plot so as to go beyond book 7 and write about after-Hogwart Harry but I think she'll turn out leaving it at that.
From home front - nothing good had arisen. I'm at my wits' end. Had forsaken the idea of chuck everything out of course but still suspended, I am.
Best soundtrack would be Evanesence's "Bring Me To Life." Am not dead yet but I don't feel like living, either.
