Miscellanous
|Listening to: Black Coffee - All Saints
Lots of pic to share today.
First off the one I found the other day at one of the kazillions website dedicated to
Clay. The caption wasn't that much of an illumination but I believe it's taken during the official AI2 tour. Interviews had revealed that the guys are actually very good friends and also that they all had very little sleep. Well, this is the proof, ha!
Aren't they cuuuute?
Next. Intoxicated with romance, querido mio told me I look like this girl.
Oh, boy. First, it was Sharon Stone, Madonna and now this? (Ha.)
I went a bit hysterical although he wouldn't know that. (I'm a cool gal.) I mean, gosh, I love this girl. She's not the prettiest girl within the industry (Bollywood) but she's certainly got attitude and such arresting look...
Anyway, with that he got a little extra time, while in truth, I wanted to shoo him away 'coz a football game was already on TV. Tee hee. He grumpily said he supposed he should feel privileged 'coz I chose him over football.
Aaand, I took yet another quiz, thanks to
Rurou.

You're Element is Flame. You have a strong, independent, fiery personality and you obviously don't let other's punch you around. You like being in charge and don't care what other people think.
In fact, you like to stand out and be yourself. You're probably shy when people first meet you but you're a ball of energy that could explode at any given moment.
You like to laugh and whether you admit it or not, you like to fight. Your personality is wild and untamable. You're physically fit and a little sexy and you have a very pretty face.
What's Your Element(girls)? (PICTURES) brought to you by Quizilla

A Peek on The Election
|Listening to: Have A Little Faith In Me - Mandy Moore
Most people agree that this year's election hadn't been better than the last. The thing that hasn't come to light is how much worse it has been.
Many people lose their right to vote due to undelivered Voter's Cards. True, you can just show up and brandish your ID to vote but most of the time, people don't even know that.
Voting procedures and how-tos were indeed informed through the media and socialised elseways though I've noticed that on the D-day there were still people who hadn't a clue as to what they should do with that huge, multiple papers. (In the old days, voters were given only one paper each, no writing, no tables of contenders, just logos and in the older days, only three of them!)
Parties had been badgering KPU (that's the panel in charge of running the election) for their alleged lateness in distributing voting papers.
What had actually cause the lateness? The parties' lateness in handing in their list of contenders!
And one very smart alec President wannabe, going by the initial GK, protested KPU that his photo didn't turned out the way his "stylist" designed it. He went so far as to demand KPU to withdraw the already distributed papers and have his photo updated, threatening a legal action if his will not be.
Very smooth, Mister. That's definitely the way to show what a thoughtful leader-to-be you are, very unselfish; a person who has the people's best interests on priority.

Agonizing Time
|Listening to: How Do I Live - Trisha Yearwood
It's the end of the world!!! *sobs*
Arsenal lost to Chelsea, Madrid to Monaco and the last straw, Milan to Deportivo. I feel very much for Arsenal striker, Reyes. He left the stadium crying. Ha!
Goodness, it's hard to take. Monaco's a great team - the more slap in the face for Madrid management team that they lend Morientes for the very team that so elegantly beat Los Galacticos. Still, I feel it's tragic that Madrid should lose that easily. Defense squad was worthless, indeed but had he been as disciplined as he used to be,
Iker could've prevented such humilliating loss.
Milan was profoundly stupid. As
Deedee said, they played as if they were clueless. The only ones who seemed to have their brains intact were Seedorf and Tomasson. Still, two alone couldn't play the game.
Ugh, change subject, change subject. I need gallons of Sosro Tea to numb this pain. Ha! Spoken like a true trashy poet.
Digging through my heavyweight piles of books, I've finally found some I could (with very reluctant heart) re-sell. Cuz Inggrid had been harassing me into doing this since forever and I gave in finally.
Boy, even in my way bigger, new room, books still triumph. The bedroom now looks like a bookstore after a storm.
Speaking of books (and comic), the agonizing thing about them are the ones I failed to acquire. Kung Fu Boy; why can't you re-print them, Elex Media? Please, please, I beg yoUUU!
Had the worst luck with that comic serials. I didn't usually buy comics, much less, serials. They cost incredibly idiotic amount of money and going up faster than you can say Hey... (that's ridiculous; was what I intended to say.)
So when I realised Kung Fu Boy serial is worth mi dinero, it's out of print. Not to be cheated again, I immediately buy New Kung Fu Boy the minute it hit the stores. Alas, the story isn't as good as the original serial although Chinmi is still as clever as he was.
I stopped buying after the first-five and lo and behold, the story took an interesting turn and it's now way much better.
Not to mention Chinmi is now reunited with long time friends, Tan Tan and Sie Fan. The latter is his childhood pal, the serious shy boy on whom I have an unhealthy crush.
Argghhh!
