Stranger By The Day Shades Apart
Shitty Day
The housemates are all crazy! I dunno if it's due to my bad mood but really, those girls are getting to my nerve.
Pai is gettin into another bad soup due to her relationship with this champ of chauvinist males in all Jakarta. She'd asked Nora to stand guard by her cell phone while she's out to "get some air," fearing that her Mum would freak out over this other fight and want to check out her whereabouts.
I couldn't see why in the hell should I have to stand guard as well. But that's what Nora made me to and I guess, I was just too soft-hearted to say no.
Soft-hearted... stupid, more like.
Anyway, I have no right to say anything about this. I just wish they'd leave me alone since I have NOTHING to do with the whole thing in the first place!
And just this afternoon, Nora freaked out and asked me which knife I used to prepare my pork sausage. I told her whichever came handy.
She faltered and repeated, "Whichever...?" I lost it then, "Oh, for goodness sake, I wash them afterward, OK.?"
Get real, will ya? Maybe I should stamp some kind of insignia to indicate that this is my plate, this is my spoon and fork, this is my glass, etcetera, etcetera: Do not use in case you're squeamish!
Next came Etty. She's harmless, of course, so I'm kinda embarrassed that I dislike her good. She's one of those ppl who must come out as the intelligent, knowlegeable and mature.
In short, boring and dull.
And she has this whiny, monotonous voice that always gets me; am ashamed to say that once I practically yelled out, "Oh, shut up!" upon hearing her giving this speech outside my window. (And what had meant to be the "speech" had only been about where to buy a cheaper meal.)
All round wet-blanket.
Shitty, shitty day!

Your Song Al Jaerrau
Saying Hi
Spawn, Barba el feo means si brewok jelek! It referred to Harry, cousin Irene's hubby who sports not so ugly a beard, only I called him ugly 'coz he hated Aaron Neville's song =)
Genious, ever heard of this one?
Pity the poor insomniac dyslexic agnostic. He stayed up all night wondering if there was a dog.
Josh, haven't seen Win in a while. He's back with ole gurlfriend and have flipped out of the planet! How'ya doin?
Work, as you may have read, has only just begun. Deadline's Jan 1!
Did I write Al J.'s name correctly? That song of his is very beautiful although cuz Edwin's nodded off to sleep when he first heard it!

Best I Ever Had Vertical Horizon
Intership Sucks!!!
Just started my intership year. Haven't started the working part, actually, am still struggling to take care of the admin stuff. (Man, and if you know just how it is, living in Indo., you know what kinda hell I am in!)
Finally *big, heavy exaggerated sigh* my assignment came. The mail dated Sept 16., so I thought I must hurry but guess what my deadline is... January 1st, 2004!!!
¡Queiro ahora! ¡No tengo dinero!
And worst of all, again I have to write about make up. Hallo??? D'you guys want to make the audience a laughing stock?
My knowledge in make up amounts to a cat's knowledge in the history of the Vikings!
(El Dios me ayuda)
Most Successful Item bought this week: BOLA: Edisi Poster!!! The front cover advertised that they're featuring goalies and I snatched it in hope that there'd be a pin up of my beloved Iker and guess what??? BEP gives out an A1 sized poster of him!!! Yahooooo!!!
BOLA memang okeh!
eYiK, thanks for the schedule but I only got to watch Arsenal vs. Inter *bawling* 'cos it was this morning that RCTI came out watchable on my TV set! How's my darling Pippo doing???
Anyway, I'm glad the minors in Inter got to score the "most joyful goals of all time" in the Champions League. Of course, van der Meyde couldn't be counted as minors but he's new, OK.?! And my baby Cruz... oh, how glad I was, to see him where he should be...
Martins got the most of congratz after the game and he deserved it. Funny to note though that Toldo towered a full head over him!
And Toldo himself performed a superb penalty save! (Watch out, Gigi!) I think it takes a great goalie to take, and moreover, save a penalty kick executed by Henry.
Somewhere in Malang, Spawn must be dancing around in joy. Inter's come back with a vengeance!
Important Note: Best of all is still darling Javier *swoon* ¡Maginifico el capitán!
Bart, no comment on Phenomenon but the fact remains that darling John looked his best on that movie!!! Personally I thought his best was Face Off *starry eyes*
Let me know when your new blog's ready, OK.?

Even If My Heart Would Break Aaron Neville
Mellow Weekend
I've got the best Sat night ever *big grin* One of the many reasons: I found out about that song above.
Have been agonising since all I got about the song was vague memories of its lyrics. The only thing clear has been Mr Neville's unique way of singing. (I didn't even know it was an Aaron Neville who's singing the song!)
Once I asked Irene (frantically) when we chanced to overheared the song at the mall, she vaguely said something about Phenomenon and how hubby Harry hated the song so much!
¡Mierda! Barba el feo.
Anyway, I saw the movie Phenomenon and indeed there was a song of Neville's there but it was Crazy Love. Still, the unique singing's easily spotted and I waited patiently for the credit to roll to find out who in the hell it was.
Anyway, it took another couple of days to find the right song since I was convinced my song was Starburst!
Let the mountains tumble, tumble to the sea
Let the rivers overflow, it won't bother me
Let all the stars go out tonight, 'coz I can see them in your eyes
I'm gonna love you even if my heart would break
Oscar, you'll be the death of me!!!
I put off showering early and re-schedule my lunch date just so I can watch you...! And what did I get? Boring fight!!!
[BTW, Shane Mosley got a cute pair of pants =)]
Haven't been much into football's actions lately - I'm back to normal sleeping hours and couldn't (wouldn't) be up around the time live games were on.
Life's quite hellish when I was an owl and I'm yet willing to sacrifice my now-normal sleeping hours.
S'ley, busy as you're, CL schedule please...?
Spawn...! You're busy too, get out of my tag board and stop teasing!!!
=) Anyway, officially, Jack knows me as Shirley but I kinda doubt if he'd even recognise it. You see, I'm just one of his yet to be working writers. (If he did recognise me, tell him I need my assignment!)
Am reading yet another work of John Irving: The Water Method Man. As much fun as this one is (and it is fun), A Son of The Circus is still best.
Que excelente, Mr. Irving, ¡estas el Jefe!

Just The Way You Are Billy Joel
New Haircut
Ngak mo kalah ne ama Spawn, gua juga pake 'soundtrack.' Billy Joel had been one of my gods in music and I'm yet to find a song more beautiful than the one above.Phil Collins' Groovy Kind Of Love follows close behind and yes, Kiss From A Rose by Seal.
Songs by Toto are great, too, especially I'll Be Over You. Who was it who sang Emotions before Destiny's Child? I like that song although can't decide which version's best.
The other day, our otherwise trashy-music-lover op played a series of Frank Sinatra tracks. Nice change, especially when Fly Me To The Moon came. I have a rec of its jazz version, sang by what's-her-name - it's so good that Nora instantly turned jazz lover!
On a more trivial subject, I finally got my hair cut! I was never a keeper when it came to the promise to let my hair lengthen and yet this isn't breaking it.
It's still long, draping around the collarbone but much, much more stylish *wink* and I've got fringes!
Pai, Nina's younger sis, agreed with me that us, girls with portruding forehead (think Christina Ricci) should sport fringes =)
New demand for my pictures are arising =) so with my new look and haircut, I went straight down to a DIY photo booth and took a couple of pics. It's a b/w so I must wait for 3 days for them to process and develope.
¡Perezoso!
Same goes to the CS staff of BCA Grogol. I spent three (THREE!) fruitful days tried to re-activate my ATM card and, after been dangled a carrot of empty promise, I ended up being snubbed. "Sorry, we can't help you."
(Translation: "Go away, and stop harrassing us.")
But, listen to this guys, I went to another branch and I was served right away and my card was "alive and kicking" only three (yes, THREE!) hours after my report. Instead of the two days interval the girls at Grogol branch had hesitantly offered.
¡Puercos!
I know full co-op and customer's care isn't really BCA's key word of philosophy and differences in the way a costumer was treated between branches clearly was a responsibility of the branch manager but for God's sake STOP THIS LAZINESS!
