Smooth Santana f. Rob Thomas
Santana Rulez 4eva!!!
Who, just WHO could beat his curly hair? Hwahahaha... no, I mean his guitar sound. Boy, that's one music genious.
And Rob Thomas... yummy, yummy boy... Too bad, he's married too. Ms Marisol, you're one lucky gal!!!
Matchbox 20's first album (when they were still 20) wasn't that much of a boom but I snatched one as quick as possible nevertheless. Alas, by then I was still in the habit of buying cassettes - CDs still too expensive. (Not that they're any cheaper now.)
Now whenever I wanted to hear my fave tracks (i.e., 3 AM and Push) I had to rewind and fast-forward and bang my ancient tape =)
Second album (with new name of Matchbox Twenty) I'm already here - and since I wasn't much into clothes then, my shopping spree consisted of books and books and books. "Music money" was saved only for the most adored musician and of course, M20 was one of them.
Oh, boy, did my heart melt when I heard Bent... Mr. Thomas didn't write his lyric in this beautiful fairy-tale phrase but they're touching. And touching me deep.
It's a perfect cross between tough-honesty from rock songs and the ballads of lovey-dovey pop bands.
And If You're Gone... oh boy, oh boy, Rob, I'm your slave!
Anyway, I fulfilled self-promise to get a new book today: I got Irving's most-recommended book of all - The World According to Garp. Let's see if this beat A Son of The Circus.
Sidenote: Kinokunia people should be tied up against the wall and whipped until raw! (Hohoho, Gothic fantasy!) They stocked nearly no books of my beloved John Irving and instead of putting the only one they got in the Literary Section, they placed it on Miscellanous!
How DARE them...?!!
While at the mall, I did a little market search (high-brow title for "window shopping"!!!) And I finally found that Ripcurl watch I've been coveting for some time. Kya, kya, kya...
Service was, as always, a little poor within the confines of the syndicated store. So while waiting for an SPG, I tiptoed to look at another watches at the back.
Just then, I got a glimpse of the price: Rp 700.000 sekian-sekian!!! *slinks down and crawls out of the store*
Am still weeping until now!!!

Games of Love Michelle Branch
An Aunty Twice Over
Nephew Darren Isiah has arrived, people!!! Cousin Juliana delivered him at about noon today. I am once again "Tante Ey." (Weird!)
He's BIG. Well, that according to proud Mom, but as far as I can tell, 52 cm long IS big for a baby, right...? *look around for confirmation*
About a month before, J had told me about the name; I rolled my eyes and told her, it's a good thing she had Isiah for middle name. Anyway, we didn't discussed it but I thought the name Isiah came from her fondness of this novel titled Losing Isiah.
They later made it into a movie but as always, I like the novel better ^__^
Finally got rid of that old tag-board setting... it took a good one hour! My, I am really bad at this.
Am out of reading material!!! Helppphh...! Was going to hunt another book of John Irving but alas, I overslept =)
Objectively, or so I tried to be, I agree that Cuper deserves to be dumped... but when I saw his pic on BOLA, my heart melted. He's just clueless... and he's an old man, and a fellow albiceleste!!! *sob*

To The Moon And Back Savage Garden
Vampires, Werewolf, Centaurs and The Likes
I got a very, very good bargain for Anne Rice's newest two books, Pandora and Vittorio. And since I'd really liked her past works (The Feast of All Saints... brilliant! And of course, Cry To Heaven) I googled her and guess what I found? Another quizilla test:

So how was the Amazon anyway? You are Gabrielle!
You hate being tied down in anyway to anything.
You love exploring. More power to ya, girl!
Which Anne Rice vampire are you most like?
brought to you by Quizilla
Anyway, I dunno who the hell Gabrielle is =) My fault, I think, for reading all Rice's works but the most famous one: Interview With The Vampire.
